The short version. There are no accounts on this site, so there is nothing to sign up for and nothing to log in to. Your wheels are stored in your own browser and are never uploaded. We do not sell data, because we do not have any to sell.
What stays on your device
Your wheels — the entries, weights, colours and settings — are saved in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and we have no copy.
Your recent results and your theme choice are stored the same way, for the same reason.
Share links
When you copy a share link, the entire wheel is compressed and encoded into the link itself, after the #. Everything after a # is never sent to a web server by design, so a shared wheel is not uploaded, not stored by us, and not visible in any server log — ours or anyone else's.
Analytics
No analytics are running on this site today. When they are, they will count visits in aggregate — how many people arrive, which pages they land on, roughly which country they are in — and nothing tied to an identity, because there are no identities here to tie anything to. Analytics will never run on the pages described under Children's privacy below.
Advertising
This site is free and is paid for entirely by advertising, served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.
You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.
Children's privacy
Some pages on this site are directed to a general audience that includes children under 13. Those pages are tagged for child-directed treatment before any advertising code runs. On them:
- Advertising is non-personalised. No interest-based profile is used or built.
- No analytics of any kind are collected.
- Nothing about the visitor is requested, transmitted or recorded anywhere. The wheel you build is still saved in your own browser so it is there next time — that copy never leaves your device, and we cannot read it. This is not a policy commitment we have to police: the site has no accounts, no forms and no server to send anything to.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and there is no mechanism on this site by which a child could provide any. If you believe a child has somehow provided personal information to us, contact us at hello@spinwheelpicker.app and we will act on it.
Cookies
SpinWheelPicker sets no cookies of its own. Cookies you encounter here come from the advertising described above, and can be managed through the links in that section or in your browser settings.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the CCPA and similar laws you have rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over personal data held about you. We hold none, so in practice a deletion request has nothing to act on — but if you want to exercise a right, or want confirmation in writing that we hold nothing, write to hello@spinwheelpicker.app.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the date at the top of this page changes with it, and the change is recorded on the changelog.
